iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max: Specs, camera, price and everything else you need to know
Apple has finally launched new set of iphones. These include the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max.
Here is everything you need to know about the iPhone 11 Pro range.
You can pre-order them as from September 13. This new iPhone 11 Pro has 5.8-inch screen and as for the iPhone 11 Pro Max features a 6.5-inch screen. This new Apple iPhones 11 Pro will run iOS 13 software. There are three 12-megapixel sensors on the rear side with wide angle ultra-wide and telephoto. These gadgets runs the new set of A13 Bionic chip which is also featured in the iPhone 11. The two phones doesn’t support the 5G network connectivity.
Here are the prices of the in dollars and sterling. iPhone 11 Pro starts at a staggering price of $999/£1049 for the 64GB storage, $1149/£1199 for the 256GB storage and $1349/£1399 for the 512 GB storage.
On the other hand, the iPhone 11 Pro Max starts at a staggering price of $1099/£1149 for the 64GB storage, $1299/£1249 for the 256GB storage and $1499/£1499 for the 512 GB storage.
2. Release Date
Pre-order is underway already. It started on Friday September 13. The shipping of both iPhones will start on September 20 (Friday).
Both iPhones feature new three 12-megapixel rare camera sensors. The sensors analysis are as follows;
- 12-megapixel f/1.8 wide angle sensor (the one at the top)
- the 12-megapixel f/2.4 ultra wide sensor with a 120-degree view (the next one)
- 12-megapixel f/2.0 telephoto sensor (the one at the bottom)
Apple uses a “Deep Fusion” which is a new image processing system that Apple says uses machine learning to optimize for texture, details and noise in every part of the photo. The best possible snap is captured with one shutter button press.
Each of the different 12-megapixel camera sensors can capture amazing images at any time. You can choose between the wide and telephoto framing. This helps to take better portrait shots in a well styled way with multiple people.
The night mode is switched on automatically when there is low light. Audio zoom can detect where sound is coming from while you film. The portrait mode is also upgraded to take better portrait photos with the rare camera.
Portrait Mode is available through the 12-megapixel f/2.2 front facing camera too. Amazingly, you can shoot selfies in a slow motion selfie videos. This new feature is called the “Slofies”.
The iPhone 11 Pro has a 5.8-inch screen with 2436 x 1125 display and the iPhone 11 Pro Max has a 6.5-inch screen with 2688 x 1242 display. The Pro Max is simply the largest of the two.
Apple incorporated a new OLED panel and which supports HDR10 and Dolby vision variant of the HDR. The contrast ratio is 2 million:1 and there exist a maximum brightness at 1200 nits.
Both are being powered by the A13 Bionic chip from Apple. The chip is out mostly effective. The A13 Bionic chip have a total of 18 cores (four core GPU, eight core Neutral Engine processor, and a six core CPU. They are dedicated to handle on board machine learning processes.
Through this chip, you can shoot video at 60fps and a slow motion selfie which are made known to be “slofies” by Apple.
6. 5G connectivity and Face ID
The sad news about this new phones is that, none of them supports the 5G connectivity. In addition to this, there is no headphone jack in the either model of the 2 versions of the iPhones. Both models of the phone are IP68 rated. They can equally be submerged into four meters of water for up to 30 minutes.
The Face ID technology is now faster and reliable than usual. Apple claimed that it is up to 30% faster.
7. Battery life
Apple has made it known that the iPhone 11 Pro will offer four hours more than the iPhone XS WHILE that of the iPhone 11 Pro Max can offer up to five hours use time than the iPhone XS Max. this is a big boost of battery life compared to the previous one Apple has made.
The 18W adapter and the lightning USB-C cable will ensure fast charging.
